Brian turns 30!!

Brian turned 30 on Jan. 7th. We had ice cream cake that noc for him. The boys sang and rocked out Happy Birthday to him with their guitars. They did an awesome job.

Chicago

Brian and I took a little trip up to Chicago after New's Year just for fun and get away before school started back up again. Kelly took us over to the Lake Michigan. The beach was covered in snow and ice. The closer you got to the water it became more ice and it was like you were standing on an iceberg in Alaska. As you can probably tell it was very windy and cold. It was really neat. I thought it was really cool that you could park in this parking garage and there was the grocery store entrance. We had a great time.

Santa Came!

This is what the floor looked like as Sean and Lane started opening presents.
This is what the floor looked like in about 5 minutes after opening all of the presents. They liked their presents but they wouldn't stop and really look at it before they were ready to open the next one. They were to excited to see what was in the next present.

Kelly's Party

I thought this was a great picture that my mom took of all us w/Grandma Jean. I hope we all are as active as she is when we are in are 80s.
I never can get a picture of my kids w/Grandma, so I was so glad to get this one even though Lane was in tears b/c of something Sean did. Imagine that.
It was wonderful seeing Milo. Lane was trying to play with him. Milo is thinking I am getting out of here, you are crazy.

Lane turns 3!!

Lane turned 3 on Dec. 14. He is growing so fast and just keeps getting more funny with the things he says and does. His personality is really coming out, which can be difficult sometimes when you have a brother with a strong personality and wants to answer for him. Even though his birthday is so close to x-mas, he doesn't suffer, he still has a ton of presents from grandmas and family. I hope he never dislikes his birthday b/c of the time of year it is in. Grandma Moomoo got him the smart cycle, it is a fun game that keeps them moving while playing and he also got a ton of Cars stuff.

LET IT SNOW!!

Indiana's first snow came earlier than the past few years, we recieved about 3-5 inches. Sean and Lane ran around the house screaming "its x-mas, its x-mas!" It was really cute. Poor guys, I had to break it to them that it wasn't x-mas yet. They got over it pretty quick, when we went out to play and go sledding. Sean loved sledding, I think he could have stayed there all day. He was such a big guy walking up the hill, never complained once. Brian and I want to take Sean this year, since he is old enough, to this ski resort in southern IN. He wants to do snowboarding, I don't know if we will get to do that this year, but we will let him try skiing, plus the same place has a sledding area, when he is tired of skiing.
On your Mark Get Set Go
That is actually Brian (below) going down the hill. It was a fun park close by, where we saw kids last year sledding. When we pulled in there is a sign NO SLEDDING, yean no one cares about your sign.
Lane enjoyed the snow, but wasn't much on the sledding. He was a little cranky b/c he needed a longer nap. I don't know why these big retailers don't make better fitting gloves for little kids. Lane had on two pairs of gloves and still his little fingers were so cold when we got back into the car. One day I am going to redesign gloves for little ones and hospital gowns. But he looked so cute bundled up.

Go Colts!

I recently had one Sunday afternoon off. We went over to Jamie's neighbor's to watch a Colts game. Here is Jamie and I matching in our Colts jersey. We had a great time eating pizza and drinking some beer.
