New Puppy

Say hello to the new member of our family, this is Jesse. She is a miniature Schnauzer all white and is about 10 wks old. Brian and I call her Jesse but if you ask Sean, he will say that she has three names, Fifi, Jesse and Tinkerbell. He mainly calls her Fifi b/c that is what I started calling her when we first got her about 2 wks ago. Brian asked me to come up with a better name. She is very sweet at times, but she is starting the nipping stage of being a puppy, when I walk across the floor she likes to bite at my feet, she has sharp little puppy teeth. I wasn't really looking for a dog so soon, but one of Sean's friends in preschool had these puppies and I have always wanted a miniature Schnauzer, so we went for it. She is doing fairly well going to the bathroom outside and she sleeps in her crate all noc without crying.

Thankful

While on the houseboat I heard and saw many things that I became very thankful for my parents. Some of the others had never been on a tube, are scared of the water, never been on a houseboat or been on many vacations. I was just in amazement at times that they had never experienced these things. I felt very privileged that my parents were eager to teach me about boats, let me tube as a young child, just let me see other states, lakes and what it is like to go on a vacation. Granted I have never really been a scared individual about trying something new, if it was there and I thought I could do it, I would definitely try it. I am glad that my parents instilled in me not to be scared to try new things and gave me the opportunity to see and experience some of the fun things in life. I think as myself being a parent, I want to give my children those same experiences and show them that they can do whatever they want and not to be scared to try something new. So thank you Mom and Dad for all of your support in letting me experience life.

Dale Hollow Houseboat Trip

This is my friend Jamie, our kids are about the same age. Jamie
also works at St. Francis in the ER with me. We have alot of fun
together. She is one of a few people at work and at home who gets
my sense of humor. We do alot together ither just me and her or with
all of the kids. Here we are on the houseboat, lounging around and
enjoying the peace and quit. It is a beautiful lake.

This is the tube that we rode. It gives you quite the ride. You can either
lie down on your stomach or sit like a chair. Either way was fun. At the end of the 4 days my muscles were very sore. I didn't get that sore as a child that I remember. I need to work on limbering up.

This is the inside of the houseboat. There were a total of 6 couples. We ate and ate and ate, I think, and drank and drank and drank. But as you can see, the boat comes with everthing.

This was Brian's and I bedroom, just to show you there is not much space. But you don't plan on being in your room much.
